Previously a 25-acre parcel of undeveloped land, Cameron Technology Center is now an industrial flex business park, comprised of three buildings totaling 121,000 square feet. SIG’s goal was to acquire the land, and subsequently design, construct, finance, and lease the project. Scher Investment Group began construction on the same day escrow closed on the land purchase. The project was built in two phases over a 15-month period. By the time the project was completed, the business park was 100% leased. Upon completion of construction, SIG returned all equity to investors, while continuing to distribute excess cash flow well in excess of a 20% return on the investors original equity.
